| Uncle Flatty |
Uncle Flatty is a Connecticut based five-piece Americana Alt-Country Rock outfit. Our brand of music ranges in feel from the unhinged power of Neil Youngs electric eras to the down-homey rawness of the Gourds; from the sometimes straight ahead rock feel of Wilco to the introspective minimalism of the Velvet Underground. With instrumentation that mixes viola, harmonica, mandolin, and the occasional banjo with the usual 4 piece rock band, Uncle Flatty always brings a fresh perspective to the traditional sounds and feels of decades of American musical traditions. Lyrically and rhythmically, Uncle Flatty expresses the hope, sadness, humor, and uncertainty that lie in all of us. |

| This Blue Heaven |
Melodic yet cerebral, catchy but never canned, Boston-based
This Blue Heaven has exorcised the pose from indie pop with
their much-anticipated debut record Quicksandglass. With a
voice about as honest and intimate as one is likely to hear in an
age stocked with shrink-wrapped Top 40 hits, frontwoman
MacKenzie Outlund lends her stylings to droning synths and
swaggering bass lines, echoey guitars and disco dance beats.
The result is an authentic groove dynamic enough to convey
true
stories that listeners can hum to and will keep humming all the
way home. |

Ineffable. Incredible. Entertaining and welcoming.
50 Cent, Dre beats sampled live off his guitar to straight up Frank Sinatra. 0 - 60 in 6 seconds... Lots of love and care goes into this man's art.
Spiritual and chaotic... Ineffable. Incredible. Fun. |
